Chiara Spinelli è cresciuta a Lecce ma vive a Milano.
In questi anni ha perfezionato il suo percorso di formazione con la partecipazione a corsi di illustrazione, a esposizioni e fiere di settore. Nel 2023 ha vinto il premio di residenza artistica a Farm Cultural Park in collaborazione con il Cose Belle Festival.
Ha pubblicato “Il mare è…” (Kurumuny, 2021), “Il pacco da giù” (Quinto Quarto, 2022), scelto
come una delle 20 migliori opere di debutto nella categoria Opera Prima di BRAW AMAZING
BOOKSHELF a BCBF 2023 e “In cima alla montagna” (Storiedichi 2025).
Ha illustrato la copertina del libro “Insegnare italiano a donne migranti in stato di trauma” (Mimesis 2024).
Lavora come illustratrice freelance ed educatrice dedicandosi alla progettazione di laboratori per bambini.

Chiara Spinelli grew up in Lecce but lives in Milan.

She works as a freelance illustrator and educator dedicating herself to designing workshops for children.
